@draga.winery is a hidden gem of a winery in San Floriano del Collio, just one and a half hours northeast of Venice. With a century-long winemaking history dating back to the early 1900s, the estate has evolved from a modest house garage devoted to grapevines in the 1950s to the modern cellar it is today.
Mitja Miklus, along with his parents, Anna and Milan, makes white wines and orange wines with unwavering dedication. Mitja takes special pride in Malvasia Miklus and Pinot Grigio Miklus, considering them the finest in his collection.
To ensure top grape quality, Miklus maintains low production levels, grapes are hand-harvested and Draga works in an eco-friendly way, including sustainable vineyard management, the use of lightweight glass bottles for wine packaging, and rainwater collection for agricultural purposes.
