Heuvellands
– Limburg, Netherlands
The southern hills of Limburg, known as Het Heuvelland, form a lush, rolling landscape shaped by the distant ridges of the Ardennes and the Eifel.
It is an area of quiet beauty and fertile soil, where our apple and pear trees thrive and provide the foundation for our honest, handcrafted products. In our historic high-stem orchards, the trees have stood for more than sixty-five years, deeply rooted in the rich earth and closely tied to the region’s landscape.
They are cared for entirely through natural methods, without chemicals or interference, allowing each tree to develop its own character over time. The fruit they produce carries that depth and maturity, resulting in apples and pears with real texture and flavor. Preserving these orchards naturally means maintaining a living ecosystem where birds, insects, and other wildlife can flourish.
The age of the trees and the traditional way of working lead to products that truly capture the essence of the Heuvelland: pure, full of flavor, and made with respect for nature. Every glass tells the story of these old orchards and the land that sustains them.
