Weingut Andres
– Pfalz, Germany
The trio of brothers—Andres, Michael, and Thomas—continued a family history of winemaking when -in 2015- they took over the reins at @weingut_andres. They make distinctive wines focusing on Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Riesling varieties.
Today, the brothers manage 15 hectares of vineyards in the Deidesheim area, and their range of wines showcases the essence of the Palatinate region. Inspired by Burgundy winemaking traditions, Weingut Andres wines are known for their refreshing clarity and precision.
The Riesling vom Buntsandstein is a dry, organic wine sourced from Deidesheim, Ruppertsberg, and Forst vineyards. Fermented with natural yeasts and partially aged in large wooden barrels, it is elegant and easy to drink. The Grauburgunder a dry, organic wine is a versatile all-rounder. Selective harvesting and a aging in both large wooden barrels and stainless steel bring depth and fruitiness in the wine.
