In winemaking, the vessel isn’t just a container. It’s a tool that influences how the wine develops / evolves and hence tastes, and yes: even feels. In Wood & Food we explore how different materials, from oak barrels and amphorae to concrete eggs and stainless steel, influence a wine’s evolution, and how those nuances translate on the table with delicious wine & Food pairings.
Through guided tastings and food pairings, you will experience firsthand how vessel choice affects mouthfeel, aromatics, and the harmony between wine and cuisine. We’ll break down the science of oxygen exchange, microflora, and material interaction, then connect it all to sensory outcomes and style decisions.
Note: Workshops can be booked after purchasing your ticket. You will receive within 24 hours after booking your ticket a link to reserve a seat at the workshop you’d like to participate in.
