Christian Clerx, born and raised in Zeeland, started making his own salt in 2018 in Bruinisse. Water from the Oosterschelde is purified, boiled, harvested and enriched with seaweed or herbs as desired. The production process of Zeeuwsche Zoute is closely monitored to ensure the highest quality.
