They are often paired with Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadet or maybe a PicPoul. But with natural wines, and the indigenous grape varieties that often come with these wines, a whole new flavor spectrum opens up.
Additionally, the combination of natural wines and oysters is downright exciting. The salty, creamy, and nutty flavor profile of them, as well as their floral notes, pairs extremely well with the umami quality that some natural wines have.
Sommelier Naduah Bronsveld will guide you through some exciting combinations. Expect to be surprised and inspired.
