Ron Langeveld and Monique run ‘Wijngaard Dassemus’. Spurred on by his distributor @marnix_rombaut at @daxivin, Ron was convinced six years ago, in 2017, to shift from conventional winemaking to natural winemaking. Marnix recommended making an orange wine. The result, ‘Ceci n’est pas un orange’ was one of the first Dutch orange wines and it changed his winemaker’s life. International demand for it was big from day one.
Ron and Marnix present the success story of Dassemus and the story of Ceci n’est pas un orange at NWFA. They will also present you with a unique vertical tasting of five vintages of this wine.
